We understand that no two clients are the same; which is why we offer free no-obligation home visits, so we can get to know you and tailor our recommendations to your specific requirements.
What happens at your initial equity release meeting?
- We will arrange a convenient time to visit you in the comfort of your own home. We welcome you to invite your friends and family to this appointment should you wish to involve them in the decision making process.
- We will ask questions to gain an understanding of your individual circumstances and your aspirations so that we can provide you with the best possible advice.
- We will advise you of your options with regards to equity release and other considerations such as interest only mortgages and downsizing.
- We will make a recommendation based on our findings and leave you with this to consider.
Remember, there will be NO pressure and NO obligation to proceed. The decision to take up our recommendation is entirely yours and after your initial meeting you will be given plenty of time to decide.
Our promise is to provide you with independent, free initial equity release advice, enabling you to decide if Equity Release is right for you.
Our specialist advisers will go through a full fact find with you. This will allow them to get to know you and find out what you are looking to achieve, which will enable them to provide the most appropriate advice, including a state benefit analysis, which will show your entitlements to state benefits, as well as inheritance tax implications.
It is important that you are happy with your decision and so we encourage you to consult with family members.
All clients will be advised of our regulatory requirements as required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Our advisers will supply you with their personal contact details ensuring you will receive consistent advice from the same adviser throughout the sales process and for the lifetime of the plan.
The Right Equity Release does not charge any up front fees. A fixed fee is only charged on completion of an Equity Release Plan. Typically, this is 1.5% of the total facility or £995 whichever is the greater.
The lender or reversion company will pay The Right Equity Release a procurement fee (commission) which is retained. All loans are secure against your property.
